Pompeii

More Capri!

The rest of the day in Capri sunny and happy. In the afternoon we went out to lunch in a nice restaurant that was inside of a garden. It was really cute. hehe But... When we got there and sat down the waiter came to us and said "Really, you need to order now because the chef needs to sleep." (PS It was only 2PM.) God, I love Italians and their customer service.

Capri- After the Grotto... It's called "drowned rat"

Okay so remember in the last post how I said that youhad to to lie down in the tiny boat in order to get in and out of the grotto? Well...while we were in the grotto the current started to get a bit stronger. When we exited the grotto, water rushed into the boat, but only on the side of the boat the Charlene and I were lying down. haha We got so wet that even the captain was laughing! Charlene and I like to call this look "Drowned Rat" chic.

Capri - The Blue Grotto

This was amazing! The pictures really do not do the blue of the water justice. We were brought to the grotto on little boats. Only four people were allowed to be in each boat. The opening to the grotto is so small that you have to lie down in the boat to enter so that you do not hit your head. The captain of our tiny boat was really funny becaus ehe began singing Volare when we got inside of the grotto. The Blue Grotto reminded me of the scene is Peter Pan when Princess Tiger Lily was tied to the rock in the cave. It was so magical the way that the light from the entrance made the water in the grotto glow.

The Coast of Capri

As the boat neared the coast of Capri my first thought was that it was probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Capri is very touristy, but it is touristy for a reason... because it is insanely beautiful! Che bella!

The Boat Ride to Capri

The next day after Anagni I went on the Accent Trip to Capri, Sorrento, and Pompeii. This is the start of our journey on the boat ride to Capri. Okay wow... Capri is so beautiful!

Medieval Art Class Trip to Anagni

We visited Medieval and Gothic churches in Anagni. My professor is the Harry Potter-ish woman with thick glasses.
